Happy Holidays Communication!

There is nothing more important than communication. A smile is one of the simplest forms of it – and often the most powerful.  The statement “Happy Holidays” can launch many smiles all at once. Start benefiting from an enhanced communication strategy!

Good communication has launched many practices into the stratosphere of financial prosperity. Niche Dental is focused on communication integration. Direct mail, dental logos, dentist websites and dental brochures are some basic elements of dental communication. However, the goal should be communication and brand integration.

Dental Marketing Integration is about the future. When every dentist has a web site and logo, every dental practice is sending out mailings, and handing out brochures, which dental practices will benefit? The dentists who will find success are those that are continually upgrading and integrating their dental communication.

Below is an example of why dental marketing integration is vital. While there are variations to the dental communication story and what might be needed in your situation - elements of this example are very common.

You started your practice in a growing area years ago.  Your nice new dental office attracted patients almost all on its own. "Referrals" brought in even more new patients. Your community involvement was higher because you wanted everybody to know about you. Then maybe you moved your family to a different suburb and connect less with your potential patients. And, in the last couple years "things" started to slow down. But this slow down might have made your schedule more comfortable and this felt good. Then more recently it dropped below the "comfortable" barrier.

Integration was the key to success up until this point. You integrated a new practice and your "start up" energy with a growing area that "needed" dentists.

Obviously, you can keep jumping from growing area to growing area and get in before it "fills up". I am not against that strategy. However, the need for dentistry in your current location has not gone away - often it has just matured.

In a new area - families are aggressively searching for a home, which includes a dental home. Five to 15 years later - their aggressiveness matures. The kids' dental care needs have been met and their focus becomes more inward. While the dental health priority for their children was very high - their own is on a different track.

If nothing has been done to influence this priority - still sending dental postcards with Garfield on them - the track is lowered even more. Integrating your dental marketing ties up the loose ends and keeps pushing your value forward so you benefit from these changes.

You might need to upgrade from the cavity club and "family dentistry" to dental implants and periodontal disease. This move should be seamless not reactive. Dental health and integrated marketing are much the same: prevention is much easier than reconstruction.

Sooner than later many dentists need to upgrade to advanced, dental "implant" marketing or they start having the effects of "denture" slippage on profit health.
